William McIntosh MSW, RSW is a social worker registered in Ontario who has been in practice since 1982. His dominant area of practice has been in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry as a social worker, primarily in the area of mood and anxiety disorders. He approaches such problems with the goal of individual and/ or family restoration or resilience when conflict, anger, substance abuse, trauma, loss or illness complicate management of depression / anxiety.
Models of practice utilized are developmental and attachment based perspectives, narrative therapy, family systems and some Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
