Meet Our Associate

Devonne Strachan (MSW, RSW) values connection, authenticity, personal growth and wellness. Through her compassionate, non-judgmental approach, she supports her clients to develop healthy coping skills to find balance and meaning in their lives and be able to achieve their personal goals.

Devonne is certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and provides individual, couple and family therapy, as well as consultation as an EFT Supervisor in Training. Devonne has worked in the mental health field for over twenty years with infants, children, adolescents and adults who have experienced complicated grief and loss, complex trauma and abuse, as well as depression and anxiety. Devonne has experience working with the LGBTQ2S population and works from an Anti-Racist and Anti-Colonial approach within a reflective practice.

Devonne is trauma-informed and trained in Circle of Security Parenting, an attachment and evidence-based program for parents and children that focuses on relationships. In addition to EFT, Devonne also integrates different approaches into her practice, including Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Brief Solution Therapy.

Born and raised in London, Ontario, Devonne obtained her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Wilfrid Laurier University. She is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
